FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: Offer Exotic Nutrition Prairie Dog diet free choice to your pet daily. Adjust the amount fed to ensure your pet's optimum body weight. Provide timothy pellets or timothy hay products (as 50% of the main diet), offer whole oats or timothy hay treats to vary the diet. Vitamin and mineral supplements are not required when feeding with an Exotic Nutrition food specific for your pet. Only include supplements if your pet's supplements/treats are made up of less than 50% Prairie Dog Diet. Do not leave moistened food in the cage for more than 2 hours or dry food for more than 24 hours. Always provide fresh drinking water to your Prairie Dog. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Refrigeration is highly recommended to retain full nutritional value. Store bag in a cool, dry place (under 72 degrees). Keep food in a sealed, airtight container. We recommend storing the bag of food in the refrigerator, taking out enough food for a week at a time, and then refilling with the refrigerated food. Do not frequently expose food to a freeze/thaw cycle. If storing bag for longer than 8 weeks, refrigerate (up to 6 months). If storing for longer than 6 months, freeze (up to 12 months).
